Basic Blossoms helps a student practice basic theory skills. The musical symbol on each flower has a matching stem with the name of that symbol. The student matches those and then finds the leaf with the correct definition and adds it to the flower.

The flower, when put together, measures 5 inches.

The symbols included in the games are slur, bass clef, treble clef, repeat, flat, sharp, piano, forte, bar line, ritard, fermata and staccato.

File folder games are an excellent way for students to reinforce learning. The hands-on approach makes this particularly appropriate for helping the student be active while they learn.

This game works well for homeschoolers and for music teachers. As a teacher you can make several sets and send them home with your students to review what they are learning. They enjoy this so much more than a theory book.

The game is easy to download. You will be given a link to download the PDF file after paying. The game can be printed on any color card stock you choose and laminated for longer life. Flowers are on a separate sheet to so they can be printed on a different color card stock than the petals and leaves.
